It's our middle name! Actually, it's not really. Our middle name is Vineyard, however, the Vineyard has always been about everyone getting to play. And these are our ministries at this point. Now, this is a growing list and we are always open to new opportunities in ministry, so share your ideas!
And don't forget, if you find yourself asking, "What can I do? Is there something I can do to make a difference?" We want to encourage you to think about joinging us in ministry.

WorshipThe worship ministry is our favorite ministry in the church. We believe that worship is key, because through our worship, we minister to GOD. When He inhabits our praises and is in the midst of us, we are empowered to go and do all other ministries in the church. Also, worship centers us as believers, helping us focus and connect with GOD. This is important, because we believe it is important to know HIM and then make HIM known. And we don't believe that ministry is not something we go and do for GOD, we actually join HIM in HIS work. This can only be done through relationship with HIM. If you have musical abilities and a heart for connecting with GOD through worship, this ministry might be for you! PrayerMy personal favorite thing to do in the world. We believe that prayer of course is our personal communication with Jesus. We have small groups for prayer and a prayer team that ministers during the ministry time at the end of our services. If you are new to ministry, come join our prayer Tapis Group. When you have been around our prayer ministry a while, we would love you to join our team as we equip and release you. YouthOur youth ministry is in the beginning stages, however, we LOVE youth. We only have a couple, however, we are already amassing our leaders in order to equip, prepare and release them. We currently have events and are planning to start a small group/campus ministry as soon as we have the opportunity! If you love youth, this is the place for you. My one requirement is that you MUST love GOD and love youth. If you can do that, the rest will take care of itself. Children'sChildren are not simply the church of the future, they are the church of today. We believe that this ministry is not just a daycare or group to watch kids, it is an opportunity to introduce our little ones to Jesus and rear them in a church family that many of us never had the opportunity to experience at their age. We need your involvement with our children's ministry if you are interested and have a heart for it. We are starting a family daycare and have children's ministry and nursury during our morning services. And we have events for the family, focused on our kids' involvement periodically through the year. At the Tapestry, we remember Jesus' call to allow the little children come to HIM. GSFGSF stands for "Go," "Spread," "Fire." and is the name for all of our outreach and missions. We have GSF groups that are Local and Global. GSF Local Is our ministry to the Rockville, Bethesda & DC areas. We lead outreaches of kindness in these areas in order to share our faith by opening doors to conversation by acts of kindness. GSF Global We lead missions journeys around the world. Our current countries that we will be sending groups to include: Mexico, Kenya & Nepal. For more information on either leg of the GSF ministry, (CLICK HERE) FUELFuel is our clothing and food ministries. FUEL was founded in the very beginnings of the Tapestry as a response to the homeles community's need. It now has evolved into something much larger and better than before. Now, FUEL is focused on feeding day workers and homeless, handing out coats and sleeping bags to the homelss, leading food drives for the local homeless shelters and soup kitchens. FUEL is an in your face, kindness ministry that you will love. Tapestry LifeThis ministry in a nutshell simply covers: Events & Event Planning | Communications | Follow-up | Calendaring | Volunteer Recruiting If you are known as the social person in your circle of friends, this is probably the best fit for you! CreativeThe Tapestry values creativity. WE LOVE THE CREATIVE! "When the Creator touches the creation, the creation becomes creative." -dustin hedrick. If you are an artist, a singer/song-writer, a painter, graphic designer, videographer, photographer, actor, playright, designer, musician, writer, poet or any other area of creativity, we WANT YOU! We love creativity and are not only wanting to integrate it in our services, we want to incorporate it in every aspect of our lives and facilities. LeadershipLeaders are my favorite! This ministry is designed to equip, inspire and release leaders in our church and our community as they affect our world. We have seminars, Tapis Groups and classes for our leaders that develop their skills, balance their lives and encourage theis growth.
